Each Halloween, I try to create a themed cake. Something both creepy and delicious. I've been quite proud of many of my creations, although some have undoubtedly been more successful than others. Most notable among the "less successful", my
werewolf cake, which more closely resembled a bearded hobo than a terrifying creature of the night.
But even those cakes that have turned out well have never turned out quite this well:

Thanks to the Bleeding Heart Bakery, I realize I still have a long, long, long way to go.

Holy crap! That would be an awesome centerpiece, but I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to eat it.
Laughing at your "bearded hobo" comment!
This cake is awesome!
That cake is amazing! I took a look at your werewolf and got a laugh out of your story and the "bearded hobo" comment. :) I followed that link to cake wrecks site too ~ Wow, I'm feeling really good about my cake decorating abilities after looking at some of those! I like to decorate Halloween cakes every year too. It's always fun to look for new ideas!
I hope it tastes better than it looks...;-)
This cake looks amazing. Your werewolf cakes looks cool too. There is no chance I could make such a cake as I have a hard time just icing a simple round cake.
Yum! Please post your cake for this year.
I still like your werewolf-turned-bigfoot/lumberjack cake.
